I could never...

Be a writer...

Although, to my defense, I've been busy. This trip has had a lost of early morning starts and late endings. Too tired to write anything, so I've just been putting up the pictures, with no context, in Facebook.
Flew to Cusco, then took a train to Aguas Calientes, but before that visited some ruins in Ollataytambo.

And then the main event.

The Sand Winds (Paracas)

Today was the first of many days where we will wake up before 6 in the morning (3:15am to be exact). 😬
Spent 4 hours on a bus to go to Paracas, which is basically a desert right by the coast. Lots of sands and water.

We arrived at the port to take a boat over to Islas Ballestas. What are these you may ask? Well, it's an volcano island covered in guano. That's it. That the cultural benefit I learned about it. Apparently guano was known as the white gold some time ago.

There was a bit of fauna:

So stinking cute...

And then some more sand... Definitely a first!

Flying all over

Long day.
Working plus flying.
Awake since 8am.
It's 11pm right now.
And I still have more than 5 hours of flight left.
Good thing is that once those hours "fly" by, I'll be in Lima.
Let the adventure begin!

Coming up!

 Hello!~

In the next few days, I'll be posting about my upcoming trip to Peru! T-3 days...

It wasn't until 5 days ago that it hit me. I'm really going on this trip... It's not like I forgot about the trip. It's just that it didn't hit me that it was so soon. My amazon account got hit pretty hard this past week, trying to get all the stuff I needed....

Also, it's still 3 days away and I'm so unprepared. But not like someone else, who told me that once their ride to the airport was knocking on their door and they were still pulling out clothes out of the dryer. Dang. I was in a meeting with the travel agency today and they mentioned something I hadn't thought of: hats and gloves... WINTER hat and gloves. For the hike up a mountain. In 40F~ degree weather. I wouldn't have thought of that if it weren't for them.

Got to remember to pack that and my poncho.

It's a lot to think about and I'm still tired from work....
